Keith Moon, The Who, Fete de l’Humanite, 1972
Moon joined The Who in 1964 having told Daltrey he was better than their current drummer; apparently, the band knew that they needed Moon after seeing him practically smash a drum kit to pieces. His became a signature style that would be copied by many. He was a highly destructive character by all accounts and many are the tales of wrecked cars and hotel rooms.
